Here are the most frequently asked questions and answers which should help you to find out more about us and our services. HOW DO YOU SELECT HOTELS AND DESTINATIONS?
We are the destination specialists for Central & Eastern Europe – and we do what we know the best. All our agents are highly trained professionals that visited all hotels and destinations and selected the top hotels in each city which we included in our 2006/07 packages. We do this every year, so our clients will always get best quality & price value packages.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO TRAVEL?
Although, some seasons are more popular than others, each destination that we offer is beautiful and different all year long. Our agents will be happy to help you choose a travel date based on your needs, expectations, and requirements.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK A TRIP?
As all the arrangements and mainly prices are based on availability we do recommend booking your trip as far as possible in advance. Nevertheless some last minute specials may be available.
CAN YOU ARRANGE OR ADD ON FLIGHTS FROM OTHER DESTINATIONS IN THE US?
Connecting flights from major US cities can be arranged in addition to your transatlantic flight upon request. Please contact our reservation department for more information.
WHAT IS THE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE FOR INTERNATIONAL AIR TRAVEL?
Passengers are entitled to check in maximum of two pieces of luggage, where the total of all three dimensions of each of them must not exceed 158 cm (62 in), and the weight of each piece must not exceed 23 kg (50 lb). In addition, you are allowed a small carry on, where the total of all three dimensions must not exceed 115 cm (45 in) and the weight must not exceed 10 kg (22 lb); however these rules apply to International travel only, and we recommend you to contact other airline you may connect with before departure.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR DOCUMENTS TO ARRIVE?
With electronic tickets your will receive an email or fax confirming your air arrangements within minutes after the purchase. With paper tickets you will receive your documents in the mail within 10 days. We do offer express mail service if necessary to expedite the delivery.
DO I HAVE A SEAT ASSIGNMENT WHEN I BOOK A FLIGHT?
Seats will be assigned to you at the time of purchase of your airline ticket. Please inform your agent ahead should you have special seating preferences.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTED AIRFARE?
Yes, please contact our travel agents to get more information and exact rates on special Sale Fares, Children’s or Infant Fares and more.
IF I DON’T NEED AN AIR TICKET, CAN YOU ARRANGE A LAND ONLY PACKAGE?
Yes, any package that we offer can be customized, it could be land only or it may include Intra European flights and train transportation as well.
CAN I ADD ADDITIONAL NIGHTS IF I AM INTERESTED IN SPENDING MORE TIME IN EACH CITY?
We recommend extending the trip, all of our destinations have so much to offer, and our packages can be fully customized. If you decide to visit other cities Special European Air Travel passes are also available.
WHAT DO THE HALF DAY CITY TOURS COVER?
These tours allow the visitors to get to know the most important sights of each city. During the tour you get the general impression of the city, it is usually both on the bus and by foot. We have a large selection of optional trips that you can take in addition to the city tour.
IS VISA REQUIRED FOR YOUR TOURS?
American citizens do not need visa to travel to most Central European countries, nevertheless there are exceptions, and for more information, we do recommend contacting the Consulate or Embassy of each country you are planning to visit.

DO ALL HOTELS HAVE PRIVATE FACILITIES?
Yes, all the hotels we offer have private facilities in each room including other standards that we require for our clients. Our agents visited them all, and will be more than happy to recommend a hotel that will meet your expectations.
IS TRAVEL INSURANCE INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGES?
The cost of travel insurance is not included in the price of your trip; although, we offer variety of insurance plans. For more information and prices please contact our travel agents.
IS INSURANCE REQUIRED FOR YOUR TOURS?
Health insurance is required by most of the European countries and we strongly recommend purchase comprehensive travel insurance plan which will also cover your travel arrangements. Our agents will be more than happy to offer comprehensive protection plans upon your request.
ARE YOU ABLE TO ARRANGE TICKETS TO SPECIAL EVENTS SUCH AS THEATRE, OPERA, ETC.?
We do offer great variety of programs, simply specify the events you would like to attend and our travel agents will make arrangements for you.
WHAT HAPPENS IF AN EMERGENCY SHOULD OCCUR DURING OUR TOUR?
Before you leave for your trip, we will provide you with contact information for our local European offices. In case of emergency, you may contact them, an airline, or our US office to assist you with any changes or arrangements that need to be made.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN EUROPE?
Each European country’s climate depends on its location. We recommend contacting one of our travel agents or visiting www.weather.com - just select country and city of your interest, then select averages. This website will tell you monthly averages for temperature, precipitation, and other weather facts about any country or city in the world.
HOW DO I TRAVEL WITH AN ELECTRONIC TICKET?
A passport is required as well as visas in some cases, depending on your destination and trip duration. Boarding passes will be issued at the check in. We also recommend bringing a printed copy of your itinerary to the airport.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO EARN MILES ON OUR FLIGHTS?
We are the consolidator for many Star Alliance & Sky Team Airlines, and they do accept frequent flyers from all its partners; such as Austrian Airlines group, Air Canada, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana Airlines, bmi, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Spanair, Swiss International Air Lines, TAP Portugal, THAI, United, US Airways, and VARIG in Star Alliance; Czech Airlines, Aeroflot, Aeromexico, Air France, KLM, Alitalia, Continental Airlines, Delta, Corean Air, and NWA in Sky Team Airlines.
DO YOU OFFER ANY RELIGIOUS TOURS?
Yes, we do have a wide selection of religious sightseeing tours. If you have a special place that you would like to visit, based on your requirements, we can arrange a half day or a full day private city tour with an English speaking guide and a driver.
DO YOU OFFER ANY SPECIAL INTEREST TOURS?
We do offer many special interest tours; such as vine and beer tasting, architectural tours, student groups, bachelor/bachelorette parties, weddings, and many others. For more information, rates, and availability, please contact our travel agents.
DO YOU OFFER GROUP RATES?
We have a group department that handles group fares for 11-200 people for many occasions: such as weddings, special interest tours, and events. We will fully customize your travel to fulfill your expectations.
